Guns for General Washington

In the book I am reading currently, called Guns for General Washington is based on solders’ getting some cannons over to General Washington. A big conflict in one part of this book, General Washington was in the Headquarters and wanted to know where the artillery was kept and a young officer had said “Uh, well-I’m afraid, sir there isn’t any.” Washington was not happy that there was not any artillery for them to use.

The main problem for this book is that they do not have any artillery and what’s good about not having any artillery. They needed to fight the British and they didn’t have any weapons or cannons to defend themselves. Do you agree if someone is fighting another person, one person has a gun and the other has only his hands to fight with, do you think that this would be a far deal? I don’t think that this would be a good thing for the British because they have an advantage for the other team not having anything to defend themselves with.
